DirectBuy of the Rio Grande Valley has been in business since 2008, located in the middle of the Rio Grande Valley in a town called Weslaco, Texas.

We came to the Rio Grande Valley in 2007 to construct our new club. At the time no club was available for us in Ontario, Canada. We chose to come to Texas as the Rio Grande Valley continues to double its population every 5 years!

Presently we have an opportunity to purchase a club in our home town in Canada. This opportunity would allow us to return to our roots, family & friends. With a huge network of family and friends it is a fantastic opportunity for us.

Business Structure!

Business has been very profitable from the beginning. We are entering our 4th year of business! Our overhead at this location is extremely low. Meaning that my breakeven point is approximately 22 memberships a month. Our membership dues are $ 4995.00. We have done very well in our market and feel that someone with Hispanic background will do much better. Not only within our territory here in Texas but in Monterey Mexico. We are 2 hours from Monterey Mexico which has over 8 million people. Someone with Hispanic background will be able to cash in on this territory. They will have more credibility and understand the cultural needs. With that said their numbers should exceed ours with ease.
  • In 2008 we did 473 members averages to 40 per month.
  • In 2009 we did 433 members averages to 36 a month.
  • In 2010 we did 389 memberships average to 32 a month.
With our low break even that makes us very profitable. Also with all indicators showing the recession is over and Texas is on the climb it is clearly visible the potential that we have here. Our location is also 4 hours from the nearest Direct Buy location therefore our territory is not land locked and has potential for enormous growth. Our territory being so new has endless potential in income growth. We feel with a Hispanic owner adding more credibility can easily add 20% more to the numbers a month. This would result in additional revenue of $ 388,611.00 a yr on top of it present earnings.

We also have renewal receivables starting this year. This will be approximately $ 45,000.00 this year and handling fees will be approximately $ 75,000.00 this year. These numbers should double the following year as well. The more the membership base grows the more these receivable also grows.


We are located in the middle of the Rio Grande Valley in a town called Weslaco, Texas. This location is in the middle of our territory. Our club is situated just off the main expressway and located within a retail plaza. We have a total of 17,000 square feet which consist of just under 10,000 being showroom. Our showroom is the new floor plan and looks absolutely beautiful.

Our territory size is approximately 458,000 TV household. What makes us much more different from other clubs is we are located 2 from Monterrey Mexico. They have approximately 8 million people in Monterey. We have many members from Monetary but feel to properly market that area it would be a great asset to have an owner who is Hispanic. That creditability would be huge. I have attached numerous articles which talks about the strength of the Rio Grande Valley. The Valley has continued to double consistently every 5 years. Therefore the potential for income growth is endless.

This type of business could easily have a return on investment within 2 ½ years unlike other business which often take 4, 5 or even 6 years to see a return. Our business is unique and like no other. Potential with this market is endless and clearly from my past records shows success. The people in this territory are absolutely amazing people. As you can easily see with this area people have very expensive taste. Every second or third vehicle is an Escalade, Suburban, Tahoe, Yukon, and Truck. In the evenings you cannot get into a restaurant without waiting 1 to 2 hours. The parking lots are always full.
